A highlight of the exhibition is an eight-part platinum-palladium series depicting a larch forest in unparalleled detail, seamlessly forming an expansive panorama. The monochromatic composition, reminiscent of a finely rendered pencil drawing, captures even the most delicate textures, from the intricate patterns of needles to a small, hidden forest hut. Törzs meticulously crafts his platinum-palladium prints, a rare and intricate process that enhances the depth and materiality of his images.
In his Muranium series, Törzs explores the unique properties of uranium-infused glass, which glows under UV light. By capturing these objects in total darkness, he transforms their inherent fluorescence into an ethereal, almost self-illuminating presence, further enhanced by hand-finished prints on fine Kozo paper.
