On the occasion of the exhibition Interlude, we are delighted to invite you to an artist talk with Anna Deller-Yee.
Anna Deller-Yee will be in conversation with Johanna Rosenzweig from the Veste Coburg, speaking about her current exhibition, her artistic practice, and long-standing themes such as identity, memory, and belonging, as well as the special experience of presenting these works in her hometown.
With Interlude, Anna Deller-Yee returns to Coburg, the city in which she grew up and first experienced her artistic influences. In the historic Münzmeisterhaus, we present, in collaboration with the Stahlberg Collection, a new group of paintings and textile works, many of which were created specifically for this exhibition. The works on view further develop her artistic practice while opening up new thematic spaces. Through a sensitive interplay of material, colour, and form, poetic visual worlds emerge that move between intimacy and distance, vulnerability and strength. Following the positive response to the exhibition and the resulting sales, the presentation was expanded with new paintings and continues to unfold over time.
