As part of the exhibition RESET, we are pleased to invite you to an artist talk with Wolfgang Flad.
The focus of the talk will be his series DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, in which light plays a central role. Behind reflective, color-shifting glass surfaces lie complex relief structures. These multilayered works respond sensitively to changing light conditions — from daylight to dusk — creating continuous shifts in color, reflection, and depth.
The mirrored glass surfaces also incorporate the viewers themselves: space, surface, and human presence merge into a dynamic unity. Perception becomes movement — with every step and every change of light, the work unfolds anew. These pieces resist photographic capture; their full impact can only be experienced in direct encounter.
